Announcements:

Week of 5/12 - 5/14: AP Testing begins, no bells. This week is the Hopi Kachina dances to celebrate the beginning of summer.

Monday : Ms. Caplan will be out 12:30 to end of day. AP Calculus test is this morning. Wish all your Buddhist friends a Happy Vesak.

Tuesday: AP Precalculus is in the morning.

Wednesday:

Thursday: Ms. Caplan is out 7:30-8:25

Friday: Ms. Caplan will be out 7:30-8:00, Ms Picker is out the whole day. Ms. Caplan will be in the ELC 8:00.

If there is a holiday that we forgot to mention please let us know, we want everyone to feel welcome. We will add it to our calendar.

Weekly: Ms. Caplan will not be available 7:30-8:30 Tuesday mornings and 8th period Tuesdays. Mr. Lewandowski works 7:00-3:30 Thursdays, Mr. Bakke works 9:00-5:30 Thursdays.

About Us:

Mr. Bakke: My favorite subject in mathematics is calculus. I'm a major fan of role-playing games, board games, science fiction and fantasy. My family has a Quaker parrot named Blueberry. I am a former SHS student, as well!

Ms. Caplan: I am a co-sponsor for Peer Tutors. I enjoy board games, playing Dance Dance Revolution, and photographing birds. My favorite math subject is Calculus. You can follow me on Instagram: mscap_shsmath

Ms. Picker: My favorite subject is Trigonometry. I have a standard poodle named Bailey. I love all sports and cheer for ALL Chicago sports teams. I am a former SHS student. Go Patriots!!!

Mr. Lewandowski: my favorite subject in math is statistics. I love sci-fi and fantasy stories as well as games. I play RPGs, read philosophy, and paint in my free time. I have two cats, Appa and Iroh whom I adore. I am the co-sponsor for the interactive gamers club.
